And the Music Continues…

WOW!!! – Now (as of this writing) at 4, 587 Likes on FB!!! Moving ever-upward. The hard work on THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death goes on. While it’s true it has never been easier to create your own project, the heavy-lifting that one has to do to get to the goal has increased exponentially. Why? Because everybody’s attempting crowdfunding!!!  One of the differentiating characteristics of these projects here  is that they’ve all been formed as their own corporations, so we’re not beholden to crowdfunding. We can bring in private capital from investors and they can feel secure in knowing that they are attaching themselves to a professional organization. Our CFO – Ruby Emerald Diamond – (yes – that’s her real name, no kidding!) has about 30 yrs experience as an Enrolled Agent and has many industry veterans on her client list. She knows the in’s & out’s of all this. Her experience is invaluable. While it appears we will not reach our target goal on Indiegogo.com this time, we will continue with what we’ve been doing and see how we can modify the message so that it makes people more inclined to donate to the project.

THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death Cast Member Edwin H Bravo (Petrus von Marscher)  just received this killer still from the production group. Way to go Edwin!!!! Lance Henriksen‘s got to be one of the koolest kats around!

Man are we anxious to get this done!!! It’s no stretch to call it THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death Neo-Shakespearian!!! But not as confusing as Shakespeare can be to the untrained ear.

If you’ve been paying attention, we’ve been all over social media. In getting the word out on Twitter, we’ve made a wonderful friend in Twitter savant @PJStrikeForce, who is without a doubt one of the U.S. Military’s best supporters (how could one not be?)  and campaigns extensively on their behalf. Her good friend Kyle Hester is involved with a project now seeking to draw attention to the very serious problem of PTSD, enter Burden of Freedom:

“the story of a US Army Captain of the 101st Airborne Rangers, who lead his men during the Battle of Najaf, Iraq, only to come home to a different kind of battle – fighting PTSD. This film will help spread awareness of PTSD in an impactful, dramatic way.”

Burden of Freedom movie

Helmed by Gary Hubb, who is an “American writer, director, producer and production manager.  His first film experience was in 1997 acting in a highly authentic Civil War docu-drama entitled Antietam.  It was this experience under a detail-orientated director with an eye for authenticity that shaped his style of approach.  The film was shot on the actual historic battlefield depicting a conflict that killed over 21,000 people in just one day.” Like THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death, Burden of Freedom is a grass roots, independent project. Check them out, give them a Like on FB and hit the donation jar. Working together Ladies & Gentlemen, we can affect change (dare I say it that way? :<D ) in choices of entertainment today. It’s been our observation that certain segments of the American population seem hesitant to donate to these “Hollywood” projects or entertainment in general. This effectively cedes control to those who produce that of which they are not a fan. This has to change if people want the winds to come from different direction. Carping & complaining about what gets produced or what doesn’t is an inactive action, when this is changed to an active action (i.e. supporting these projects thru pledges and getting the word out on social media) then the game can change.

Bottom Line: You want to see a difference? Then you have to get involved. When you’re on the sidelines you’re not in the game.

Like our Ambassador of Goodwill by Special Arrangement Adam Bednar and his Living History Group the 5 /Kp Großdeutschland and their upcoming mini-series The Vanquished, or Director Scott Mactavish‘s Murph the Protector, we’re all about helping spread the word for our brothers attempting to do good. Stay tuned. More on these projects to come!!!
