Peace of Mind for the Film Investor…

A post on the business side of things. The above words are not exactly familiar to too many Film Investors. However, as Independent Filmmakers we are of the opinion we should go as far as we possibly can to provide as much of this to our Investment Group as possible. What we have is – in a word – revolutionary and thanks go to Executive Producer Bill Rebane. Woah!!! How time gets away – far too long between blog posts!!! Our sincerest apologies but we’ve been going from one project to another without interruption. Since then, our very own Robert E. Wilhelm has appeared in several shorts as well as working with the legendary Russ Woody on a special performance of his new pilot Deleria. He’s also slated to shoot some pick-ups on his latest indie feature Candid Carmen & Co., directed by Noé Obregon Escobar. It’s a rollicking, comedy/drama about the pits and pratfalls of a street theatre group in L.A. Director Alec Gillis‘ “‘Harbinger Down’” debuted at the Egyptian Theatre Official Site in Hollywood this past week – kudos to all including our very own Edwin H Bravo (in the role of “Atka”)!!! Our sincerest apologies for the tardiness of this post, but we’ve had our hands full with finishing other projects, auditions, & both THE MARSCHER LORDS: Brotherhood or Death & MASTERS OF WAR: Soldiers of Distinction. With Veteran Producer Mo Fitzgibbon, we were able to take AFM 2014 by storm!!! Good things in the mix! Really good things!!! Can’t elaborate any more than that at the moment, so stay tuned. One thing we can say is that these projects have LEGS!!!  And another heartfelt thank you to her husband & partner Robert Walker who’s graphic design & editing helped push the MASTERS OF WAR sizzle reel over the top!

As previously mentioned, THE MARSCHER LORDS: Brotherhood or Death Promo Video/Commercial is now in the process of being scored – with ORIGINAL MUSIC!!! Composer Drew Tretick unfortunately became detained on one of his current projects so he referred the scoring duties to his close friend Hans Karl, who we couldn’t be happier to have aboard!!! Keeping it all in the family!!! The initial work on the shorter of the videos (yes – there is more than one! ;<) is more than promising & Hans is incredibly excited to be working on it!!! The music itself evokes masculinity, raw emotion, power,  loneliness, gentleness, honor, respect, kindness, & love. Of course tying it all together are the moving pictures it will itself overlay...

Fresh from THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death Promo Video Shoot, our very own R. E. Wilhelm III is off later this week to shoot Barker Daniels, a family saga directed by Mike “Moose” Moutsatsos & produced by Fred Durst (formerly of Limp Bizkit) & Mark W. Curran‘s signature feature Abandoned Dead. Lenser Extraordinaire David Hansen-Sturm is finishing up some projects this week to get into the editing booth to hammer out THE MARSCHER LORDS: Brotherhood or Death Promo Video. There’s also been movement on the scoring front for both THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death Promo Video as well as the film itself – Serendipity Happens: talks are initial at this point, but there is a major recording artist, a graduate of the famed Juilliard School of Music in New York ...

THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death Promo in the Can!!! Just this past Tues we shot several theme-based vignettes that we’re cutting into a short promo film for the aforementioned production!!! A terrific cast of mates & new friends including RE Wilhelm III, Edwin H Bravo (who just recently shot an episode of The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow for HBO), Joe Sachem (one of the finest character actors around), Rita Green, who hails from Hollywood’s Golden Age where she was under contract to Universal Studios, Stephen Rollins, Aubreeanna Carroll, & Julian Dorame, who was a fantastic last-minute substitute from Sir Brick Price! He was found by the most wonderful woman  ...

When it rains, it pours!!! Now our very own R.E Wilhelm III has not one but two films to shoot this July: Director Mark W. Curran’s psychological thriller “The Abandoned Dead” & Mike Moutsatsos’ family saga “Barker Daniels“. Ahh, such is an actor’s life! Feast or Famine it is. Just one of those things (& sometimes a veritable Trip to the Moon on Gossamer Wings!). This past Friday was the Dances With Film Festival 2014@ the legendary Graumann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. What a weekend! Wrapped up the 2014 Airshow @ Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, CA. It was a salute to the 8th USAAF and its contributions to winning World War II  in the European Theatre. Some really amazing & rare aircraft – not only – in attendance but flying!!! : two B-17G‘s, about a half-dozen P-47 Thunderbolts (Museum even owns one of the few “Razorbacks” left in operation), F4U Corsairs, Grumman F3F  Wildcat & F6F’ Hellcat (dubbed “the Zero Killer” because it was the first American fighter that could outperform & outturn the Mitsubishi A6M Zero), the SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber (victor of Battle of Midway 1942 where it sank three Japanese carriers in the span of about ten minutes), TBM Avenger Torpedo Bomber, P-40 Warhawk,  a Mitsubish...
