The horror/psych thriller genre is certainly one that makes $$$, which is obviously why they keep making them!!! And that will continue until the pubic at large tires of them which has yet to happen. In that vein, our very own R.E. Wilhelm III just booked a lead part in Mark W. Curran’s upcoming indie feature “The Abandoned Dead” (no website as yet – under construction). The script is a real thriller with a fascinating twist at the end. No campy ‘teens-lost-in-woods-hunted-by-crazed-zombie/vampire’ schlock here (life’s too short for that!), but a very well-thought out & well-written project. Principle shooting begins this summer. Well done Mr. Curran!!! We’re earnestly look forward to the result!
A Marscher Lord on a Red Carpet, A GI Film Fest, Vets & A Wilhelm Cast……
Red Carpet Affair this Friday May 30: Dances with Film Festival; Wilhelm appears with MASTERS OF WAR:SOLDIERS OF DISTINCTION Executive Producer Mo Fitzgibbon & hubby Robert Walker at TCL’s Chinese Theatre (formerly the legendary Graumann’s Chinese Theatre) for their debut of their music video “Save the Children” by the always rockin’ Joanna Teppur. Joanna’s lineage speaks music biz: her legendary grandfather – Sid Tepper– wrote songs for Elvis Presley. Ck back for pix! Will post when we get them!
As previously mentioned, we’re shortly to being shooting a commercial for THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death, utilizing the cast as well as Lenser Extraordinãire David Hansen-Sturm. Details of it are being kept under-the-wire for now, but the script has been completed. We can say that the time-tested principles of Chivalry will play a large part. We’re looking to shoot this ASAP, so won’t be long before we post the vid.
A Marscher Lord on a Red Carpet, A GI Film Fest, Vets & A Wilhelm Cast……
Still hashing out Veteran’s Charities for MASTERS OF WAR:SOLDIERS OF DISTINCTION: in the wake of the unconscionable scandal involved the Dept of Veteran’s Affairs & their treatment of our Veterans, it is with great pride that we state the show’s chief beneficiary will be a Veteran’s Charity. They went to serve on our behalf, fully trusting in the pact entered into with the Fed Govt and that was assured to them. And now, it appears the bottom has fallen out. We wish we could wave a magic wand and fix the whole problem for them. Though we trust that over the course of the series we’ll be able to help – if even a small number of Veterans – at least we will have done something. It’s more than just sending out a # on Twitter. Even though we have secured an outside, independent distributor, we will take the show to networks next month, so we’re in crunch time now. Please ck out the FB page & give us a Like! We’re behind on those due to all the heavy lifting for THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death. As mentioned in the post just after the Planes of Fame Air Museum 2014 Air Show, in speaking with the Living Historians who were there (reenactment groups) there were a great many subjects they were unaware of! Proof positive there’s a market for a show such as this. There are some terrific documentaries out there & a great many wonderful shows on AHC, but they have missed a great deal of material. It’s OK though, that’s good for us!!!

Would be remiss not to point out that our very own Colonel F Lee Reynolds USAR (who related his experiences in Iraq in the MASTERS OF WAR:SOLDIERS OF DISTINCTION Teaser & who we hope will assist in doing Guest Narrative in the Series) is now in Washington DC @ the GI Film Festival, speaking this weekend with several Veterans Charities.
Speaking of horror/psych thrillers, cast member Edwin H Bravo‘s been recently seen signing posters for “Harbinger Down‘. See here.He says his experience working on the set of aforesaid feature was nothing short of spectacular. He has wonderful things to say about the cast, Lance Henriksen, & the director Alec Gillis of Amalgated Dynamics & Dark Dunes Productions. This is the type of experience you always want your cast/crew to have. We’ve all heard stories of megalomaniacal directors, actors, producers, etc. Life’s too short for all that. ‘Do Unto Others’ & tell great stories.
